An Installation Manual will be included with each stairlift and MediTek’s technical service team is always on hand ready to help.
You can also have a MediTek Factory Trained Engineer install the stair lift for you.
The installation process only takes an hour and is undertaken in the following sequence:
- Unpack the stairlift from its boxes
- Lay the rail along the noses of the stairs
- Secure the rail to the staircase
- Fit the carriage to the top of the rail
- Fit the plastic top stop
- Fit the seat to the carriage
- Connect the color matched wires in the seat wiring loom
- Level the seat and footrest
- Plug in the charger to a local power socket
- Connect the two wires from the battery charger to the rail terminal
- Attach the battery Lead
- Fit the cover
- Test the installed stair lift with supplied check list
