The Warranty Small Print
What the Warranty does cover
- The Company will, as its option, either replace or repair, any goods found to be defective by reason of faulty materials or poor workmanship provided that:
- The Company is notified in writing within 7 days of any such defects by the Customer and in any event not later than 12 days from the date of shipping the goods, or for the gearbox within the lifetime of the first installation.
- Examination by the Company of such goods shall disclose to its satisfaction that such defects exist and have not been caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, improper repair, alteration, accident, or reasonable wear and tear.
What the Warranty does not cover
- This guarantee does not extend to any consumable items, such as the batteries.
- Damage caused in shipping (unless that damage is reported to MediTek Stair Lifts by telephone within 24 hours of receipt of the goods).
